The new 2005 cuddy cabin models 195CS and 195CX ride on Stingray's Z-plane hull that has an
extended running surface that delivers better performance and handling than its predecessor.
The primary difference between the two new models is the seating configurations. The 195CS
has a driver's bucket seat, a back-to-back fold-down passenger lounge, and jump seats that convert
to a sundeck. The 195CX comes with a full-width aft bench seat ahead of a padded sundeck over the
engine compartment, and dual bucket seats forward.
Each model has a 3-panel cabin door for ease of access and ventilation. The cabin comes
equipped with adjustable electric lights for nighttime use, and the berth will accommodate two
adults. A Porta-Potti is standard, making the boats well suited for overnight trips.
Other features include pop-up cleats, a recessed bow light, bow anchor storage, an in-floor
ice chest, and premium foam-backed upholstery. The helm comes with a full array of backlit
instruments, a stylish steering wheel and a 12-volt plug for powering accessories.
Several Volvo Penta and MerCruiser stern drive engine options are available for both of the
cuddies, starting with a carbureted 3.0 liter 4-cylinder and ending with a 225 hp fuel-injected
4.3 liter V-6.
