Our Story
We started as pioneers, challenging the idea that boats had to be built the same old way. Decades later, Stingray is still a family-owned company committed to smart engineering, precision craftsmanship, and a better experience for every customer.
Founded in Hartsville
Al Fink establishes Stingray Boats with just a few molds and a small team of skilled craftsmen. The first Stingray boat is built that same year.
Record-Breaking
Stingray enters the Guinness Book of World Records for a 1,804-mile trip down the Mississippi River — proving performance and reliability from the very beginning.
Pioneering Manufacturing Innovation
